Stanhope Place is home to the Friends of Covehead-Brackley Bays office (one of the two watershed groups in the municipality) and where the Stanhope Historical Society hold their meetings and events.
From late fall to spring, cards are held on Tuesday nights (Cribbage at 7pm), and Saturdays 1pm (Auction 45s). New card players are welcome.
