On Sunday, June 14, the Heart and Stroke Foundation will host Spokes for Stroke, a recreational cycling event suitable for all ages and skill levels. Spokes for Stroke will start at the Brackley Community Centre, with two routes to choose from: open road option of 63k with beautiful ocean views along the Gulf Shore Parkway and a shorter trail option with distances of the cyclists’ choice, up to 35k.
Participants can register and start their fundraising at www.spokesforstroke.ca Spokes for Stroke is a pledge-based fundraising event that also focuses on regular physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. Monies raised will go toward the Foundation's mission of creating survivors on PEI!
